We have a busy Product Roundup for you this week, and we'll start with some interesting launches in Europe...
Scout24 tenants will no longer need to pay a deposit when moving into their rental apartment, according to the terms of the German portal's partnership with SV SparkassenVersicherung.
According to a press release on Scout24's website, SV SparkassenVersicherung will provide a guarantee instead of an upfront deposit being paid.
Dr. Gesa Crockford, Managing Director of ImmoScout24, said:
"Moving is expensive enough. Having to pay several thousand euros in security deposits all at once means losing valuable financial flexibility. With the Deposit Guarantee+, we relieve tenants of this burden without compromising security for landlords.
With the Deposit Guarantee+, SV SparkassenVersicherung guarantees the agreed deposit amount. In the event of a claim, landlords can assert their claim directly against SV SparkassenVersicherung upon first demand. As a joint and several guarantee, no prior recourse against the tenants is necessary. Scout24 says this reduces the administrative burden for private landlords while offering reliable protection.
For tenants, the deposit guarantee+ offers a clear advantage: the deposit amount remains available in their own account. Instead of paying it as a cash deposit, they pay an annual premium to SV SparkassenVersicherung.
Ralph Eisenhauer, Board Member at SV SparkassenVersicherung, said:
"The deposit guarantee+ fits perfectly into our strategy of thinking from the customer's perspective and making offers that people need. We at SV SparkassenVersicherung stand for many years of high expertise in all insurance matters related to the home and guarantee security. ImmoScout24 represents the integrated, fast, simple, digital process. Together we deliver a product that both tenants and landlords can look forward to."
The real estate vertical Leboncoin Immo has entered a partnership with the real estate advertising platform Nodalview.
Nodalview is an all-in-one marketing platform for real estate. The proptech's solutions are now integrated into some of Leboncoin's professional offerings, removing several obstacles that real estate agencies don't have the time, skill or budget for optimised listings.
Sophie Bourg, Marketing and Real Estate Operations Director at Leboncoin Immo, said:
“Our shared belief is that providing better information and presenting properties improves both the buyer experience and the performance of real estate professionals. The goal isn't simply to add more content, but to enhance the quality and completeness of listings. This is playing an increasingly important role in how we approach their visibility on leboncoin.”
Thomas Lepelaars, CEO of Nodalview, said:
"Real estate agents possess expertise in both the property and the local market. Our role is to empower them to make this expertise immediately apparent in their listings. Until now, producing high-quality content could require additional time, skills, or resources. By bringing Nodalview closer to the leading French real estate platform, we aim to help make this quality a natural reflex for a wider range of professionals.”
According to a press release, Leboncoin Immo found that people with a real estate project show that 60% have already ignored an ad due to missing essential information, 52% because of a description that was too vague or not detailed enough, and 46% because of poor-quality or poorly framed photos. Photos generate 20% more contacts, videos lead to 12% more views, and virtual tours even see a 33% increase. Providing a precise address results in 41% more contacts.
Meanwhile, Nodaalview says 82% of buyers believe that a property video can influence their desire to visit a property, and 57.8% consider floor plans essential. Yet, only 18% of real estate agents currently produce a video for each of their properties.
SeLoger Neuf, the new build segment of the leading French real estate marketplace, has launched a new advertising tier granting the first position on search results pages for new developments in France.
Top Position is only for developers, with a maximum of four subscriptions per zone, and SeLoger claims developers can generate up to 37% more leads than subscribers to other advertising products on its platform.
Developers can switch which project appears, with a minimum share of 25% of top visibility depending on how many other developers in the area sign up to the program.
The program reflects other product tiers introduced on SeLoger's resale marketplaces.
dubizzle, one of the largest generalised classifieds websites in the UAE, has introduced direct Holiday Home bookings, allowing users to discover, compare and book licensed short-term rentals directly on the platform.
Guests can browse a growing portfolio of licensed holiday homes across the UAE, including city apartments, waterfront residences, family-friendly homes and luxury villas, before booking

Costi Cohen has launched what it believes is Australia’s first AI-powered platform built specifically around commercial property.
Costi Cohen's platform is a buyer-first platform, providing users with information including budget, target yield, location, asset class, lease structure, income, occupancy and long-term potential. Its AI assistant can also search for matching projects that fit the buyer's criteria, adding a percentage score for how well a property matches the original search parameters.
Properties submitted by agents are captured, structured and checked automatically, then enriched with established property data and current market listings.
For seller agents, Costi Cohen offers a more direct way to connect a listing with genuine, active buyer requirements, both on- and off-market, while also providing a transaction service including offer terms, status and rejection reasons, due diligence, exchange and settlement.
Stephanie Vella, Head of Transaction Analysis, Costi Cohen, said:
"The value is in giving the team a much clearer view of what is actually relevant to each client. Instead of starting from scratch every time a new property comes up, the system is working in the background every day and bringing the right opportunities back to us."
According to the company's website, Costi Cohen has several high-profile strategic partners across banking, accounting, real estate agencies, law firms and mortgage brokers.
Compass has announced the biggest redesign of its website in a decade, launching See It First™ as the latest way for consumers in the United States to find early-access properties listed exclusively on the brokerage's site.
Julie Keef, Head of Consumer Search at Compass, said:
"With See It First™, we’re giving consumers the opportunity to discover more homes earlier. By bringing more homes and local expertise together in one place, we’re making Compass.com an even more valuable destination for buyers to start and continue their home search.”
